The Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy aims to bridge the quality-of-life gap between Northern Ireland's most deprived urban neighbourhoods and the rest of society. Implemented by local councils, the initiative focuses on social, economic, community, and physical renewal through partnerships and action plans. Key priorities include enhancing health and well-being, boosting employment and education, fostering community capacity, and improving physical infrastructure. Over £7.8 million in revenue and capital projects is anticipated for 2014/15, with ongoing planning for future needs.
