Qualifying Facility (QF) Compliance Review Initiative

This document summarizes the March 22, 2005, compliance review initiative of Qualifying Facilities (QF) conducted by the Office of Markets, Tariffs, and Rates. It outlines the requirements for QFs including ownership accuracy, adherence to Commission regulations, and reporting of ownership transfers. The review found some QFs needed to withdraw self-certifications due to undisclosed ownership changes. Ongoing efforts include increased scrutiny and the issuance of compliance review letters to ensure proper self-certification processes.
