  12. Cuban Missile crisis Khruschev agreed to remove missiles if we would not invade Cuba We agreed Khruschev added demand for us to remove missiles we had in Turkey We agreed, as long as it was top secret (Khruschev did not know Pentagon had already recommended removal of Turkey missiles)
