  1. The Lord is My SHEPHERD 26 August Introduce today’s lesson by talking to your child about the songs your child likes to sing. Think of some of the songs about God that you child knows. ReadPsalm 23 The Lesson: this true story from the Bible tells us that : God is our Shepherd if we love Jesus Instead of questions enjoy a longer time praising God together. If your child will find it difficult to repeat all the words, they could just join in with the “Wow” Prayer Dear Father God You are my Shepherd. WOW! You give me all I need. WOW! You show me how to live. WOW! I don’t need to be afraid. WOW! I can be with You forever. WOW! Dear Father God, thank You for being my shepherd because of Jesus. Amen Then ask your child if there is anything they would like to pray about. After which you can close the prayer.                Hands up Hands in
