Venous blood collection: • From anti cubitalfosaa. • Rubber tourniquet is used . • Clean the site with an alcohol swab. • Let the skin dried . • Vain fixed with the finger . • Forearm supported with armrest. • Sterilized syringe and needle used . • Held the syringe between the thumb and the index finger . • Tip of the index finger on the hub of the needle • As guide.

  4. When the needle in the vein sudden reduction of resistant .appearance of blood in syringe.keep the needle fixed and pulling piston gently .the tounguetloosend and needle withdrawn.sterile gauze is applied and mild peusser applied .
