  4. Upsetting Moments of Roald Dahl’s • His oldest daughter Olivia died of measles developed into encephalitis(witch is inflammation of the brain. • His son got brain damage from a car incident. • Of course his own death.

Cool Huh? • Roald Dahl’s first kid book was James and the Giant Peach. • In the first fifteen years of his writing career he was writing for adults. • Roald Dahl’s first story was “a Piece of Cake”. • His four-month-old kid Theo got brain damaged after a road incident. • In 1969 Roald Dahl’s wife, Patricia Neal, had three strokes. Finally, she made a full recover • Before, Roald Dahl himself died, his stepdaughter Lorina died of a brain tumor.
