  1. Welcome to Prestwick Academy P7 Parents’ Information Evening

  4. Classes – how are they decided? • Siblings already at school • Each pupil should have at least one person of the same sex from their primary class • Gender balance within classes • Mix of different primaries within each class • Parental requests (if possible)

  5. Induction Days • Pupils will get a badge on way to school with class details on it • Placed into House Classes • Follow timetable for Thursday and Friday • S6 pupils act as guides for the days and in August for the first week • School lunches – bring cash £2 approx • Tuckshop at interval • Spend time with Principal Teacher Guidance • Bring PE kit on Thursday

  8. Meeting Departments • Departments’ stalls on the ground floor and 1st floor foyer (take red stairwell or lift to upper floor) • The Art department will be located in the Art corridor on the 2nd floor • Refreshments available
