First International Soil Judging Contest to be held in South Korea The first International Soil Judging Contest will be held at the 20th World Congress of Soil Science on Jeju Island in South Korea. By placing in the top tier of 76 students, Julia Gillespie (left) will compete on the USA “A” Team, and Emily Salkind (far left of team picture) will compete on the USA “B” Team. Coaches will be Dr. John Galbraith and Dr. Chris Baxter of Wisc.-Platteville. Crop & Soil Environmental Sciences
