In 2013-14, Gail Reinhart's classroom embarked on an exciting trout hatching project. They eagerly awaited the arrival of trout eggs and prepared a tank for their development. Through a special peep hole, students witnessed the miraculous hatching process, sparking their curiosity. As the fry emerged and grew stronger, students observed their changes, including the development of distinctive stripes and vibrant colors. This hands-on experience fostered a deeper appreciation for aquatic life and the growth stages of trout, igniting a love for learning in the classroom.
