  2. When indicating TIME/PLACE – in, on, at 1. GENERAL - IN Use the preposition “in” when indicating time and a place in general. For example: TIME PLACE centuries (the 1800s) country (Prague) decades (the 80s) city (Cebu City) neighborhood (Chinatown) years (1970, 1980)

  3. Example sentences: TIME Inflation rate was very high inApril and June.  The board of directors has decided that a brand ambassador will be introduced intwo weekstime. PLACE The Sinulog festival is one of the most popular events inCebu City. The cheapest clothes and bags are inChinatown.

  4. When indicating TIME/PLACE – in, on, at 2. More Specific - ON Use the preposition “on” when indicating a more specific time and place . For example: TIME PLACE days (Monday, Friday) streets (Oxford Street) weekend avenue (Jones Avenue) date (April 1, 2013)

  5. Example sentences: TIME Paolo will visit the cemetery onSunday. Trecia and Celine have decided to watch a movie onApril 2, 2009. PLACE The Davao office of JRooz Review Center Inc. is located onBonifacio Street. Nelly bought her bag onJones Avenue.

  6. When indicating TIME/PLACE – in, on, at 3. Very Specific - at Use the preposition “at” when indicating a very specific time and place . For example: TIME PLACE 9am address (143 Elmer Street) Two o’clock specific place (the store) 6pm
