  1. 10th ANNUAL 9-11 MEMORIAL RUN When: Sunday - September 11, 2011 Where: Kennewick Police Department Time: 0730 Hours Course: Kennewick PD through Columbia Park to Kamiakin High School The 10th Annual Fraternal Order of Police 9-11 Memorial Run will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2011. The run is 6.5 miles long and open to all law enforcement officers, firefighters and their families – run, walk or bike. The purpose of this run is for emergency services workers and their families to honor and remember the brother and sisters of the emergency services units who made the supreme sacrifice in New York City on that unforgettable day in September 2001, the day the lives of their families were changed forever. Due to the other planned events for 9/11 the run will start at 0730 and hopefully be done by 0900. Breakfast will be served at the Kamiakin High School by the KaHS Link Crew (Student Leaders). A special event T-shirt will be available for a $5 donation. To register contact Sergeant Jack Simington at jack-simington@ci.kennewick.wa.us - 582-1314 by 9/09/11.
