  2. About - Fariha AnsariJaved Fariha AnsariJaved is a Board Member at the Harvard Business School Club of India and the 'Lead for the North'. As the Advisor for India (between August 2011 - January 2016) at the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT), Fariha has been responsible for all foreign direct investment (FDI) from India to Turkey. She has been pivotal in improving the visibility of Turkey’s economy and investment climate to Indian investors. For almost five years, she formulated and implemented the strategy for Turkey to attract investors from India. She has been responsible for engaging and sustaining relationships with the leading Indian companies at the C level. She also has excellent relationships with the leadership of the apex chambers of commerce in India.

About - Fariha AnsariJaved - 2 In addition to the leading Indian conglomerates, Fariha has also identified emerging companies with the capacity to invest overseas and encourages their interest in Turkey. She has successfully supported Indian investors in Turkey and promoted reinvestments. Fariha participated in frequent speaking engagements across India in collaboration with the main Indian chambers of commerce and the Turkish Embassy. She also has been liaising with other ministries in the Turkish government to support investments from India. During Ministerial and Head of State visits from Turkey to India, Fariha has been responsible for all business interactions and business related PR. Prior to moving to India in 2010, Fariha worked as an Underwriter for AIG Global Marine and Energy in New York City from 2003 to 2008. She focused on providing US Oil, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Maritime companies with insurance for their international assets and the reinsurance placements in the international markets.
