Shauna *The name you shall no me by...Shauna =] *I am 16 and currently studying at Hamstead Hall Community Learning Centre a.k.a HHCLC *I’m a newbie when it comes to UKYP but I've had years of political experience: *At the Cabinet Meeting in Birmingham *Appeared on the Politics Show *Part of YPP & YPP+ (3yrs) *School Council (8yrs) *Helped to design the new uniform at school. *Collected an ASDAN award for grant giving Me!!! =D

  5. Our Main Aims I based my aims on the views of schools around Birmingham. I asked their school council what main topics affected them and what they would like to see change. Here are the top 3: 1. Places To Go, Something To Do Your opinions were: *Not enough activities set up for youth in Birmingham *More Youth Clubs need to be set up around Birmingham *Youth Workers should go out into the community and interact with the youth, hearing their views and applying it with the community centres/youth clubs etc. 2. Poverty Your opinions were: *Poverty in Birmingham is not a major issue but it still is an issue that needs to be addressed. *More should to be done to help the poor people on the streets, giving them food and shelter at a time when they need help most 3. Busy Buses Your opinions were: *Bus fair are rising, why should the under 16s suffer? *Bus fare should either be made cheaper or none at all *Bus conductors should be on each bus making sure there are no disturbances on your ride My main aim would have to be the Environment. I believe more can be done to tackle recycling in our community. E.g. Fast Food restaurants like McDonalds should have a 3 BIN SYSTEM: 1. Paper 2.Plastic 3.Food waste. The percentage of waste produced by Birmingham should reduce!!! =)

  6. I'm Running To Be a MYP Purely To Get What You Want. All I Need Is Your Vote.
