Federal – State Partnership • DWD is charged to create the following monthly estimates of economic activity: • Unemployment Rate • Employment by Industry statewide and MSA • Average Weekly Hours in Manufacturing • Earnings in other Industries • Mass Layoff Statistics • As well as Quarterly Counts • Employment by Industry (County level) • Industrial Wages • Local Employment Dynamics • Estimated Occupations and Wages (twice a year) • Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) and balance of state • Source for staffing patterns and projections
