Hurricanes A hurricane goes faster than 75 mph. A huge amount of rain falls during a hurricane. Hurricanes die out when they come across a colder ocean.-Kaylee

Tornadoes There are tornadoes called a rope tornado. It looks like a rope. It is not as wide as a wedge tornado.-Sean

Lightning Lightning can get to 60,000 degrees. You can see lightning before you hear thunder. A long time ago, people believed thunder was a sign that their gods were angry.-Christopher

Seasons In the fall, a lot of changes are happening to the outdoors. The leaves turn red, orange, and gold. The days are growing shorter. At some point during the fall, the leaves fall off the trees.-Jalyssa

Winter Winter time is very cold. In the winter, you can play in the snow with your friends. Many people like to make snowmen and forts.-Randy

Seasons There are seasons; summer, spring, fall, and winter. In the spring, flowers and trees bloom. In the summer, the sun is hot. My favorite season is the fall.-Rebecca
