  2. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE? “SO YOU LOVE TO PREACH? BUT DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE?” “MANY PEOPLE CAN BEAT ME PREACHING, BUT THEY CAN’T BEAT ME LOVING!” I COULD HAVE BEEN A GIFTED PREACHER THAT DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO LOVE!

  3. 1CORINTHIANS13:1-8A (KJV) (1)“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. (2)And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. (3)And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE?

  5. 1CORINTHIANS13 *The Corinthian church was extremely gifted, but they didn’t have love. -The body of Christ is not suffering from a lack of gifts; we suffer from a lack of love. *The gifts of the Corinthians were supposed to edify the church; because they had no love, the gifts divided the church. -A gifted church without love is a divided church. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE?

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF SOMEBODY LOVES YOU? VS.4- ARE WE PATIENT, KIND, JEALOUS, BOASTFUL, OR PROUD? VS.5- ARE WE RUDE? DO WE DEMAND OUR OWN WAY? DO WE KEEP RECORD OF PEOPLE’S WRONGS? DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE?

VS.7- DO WE GIVE UP OR LOSE FAITH EASILY? ARE WE ALWAYS HOPEFUL? DO WE ENDURE TOUGH CIRCUMSTANCES? VS.8A- DO WE HAVE A DRIVE/PASSION THAT NEVER FAILS? DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE?

  8. BIG CHURCH VS. SMALL CHURCH • Many people don’t like big churches because they feel like “JUST ANOTHER NUMBER.” • Many people like small churches because they feel “LOVED & INCLUDED” • NEW RISING STAR DON’T EVER FORGET; NO MATTER HOW BIG WE GROW, WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO LOVE PEOPLE! DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE?
