  7. Directions for Habitat Rummy Cards • Use the reference materials to research the animal. • Make a list of what each animal uses to meet its need for food, water, shelter, space. Make a note of what type of climate the animal depends on. • Space is the type of environment; ie; desert, mountains, etc. • Make a card for each of the five components of a habitat. • Include the name of the animal and a picture on each card. • Each card should represent a part of the habitat • All five components of a habitat should be listed on the bottom of each card. The type of space, shelter, water source, food and climate should be listed on the appropriate card. • A picture of each basic need should be centered on the cards.
