  2. This game uses the basic structure of gin rummy to create sentences. The game uses a variety of words to encourage a wide variety of Mad Lib like sentences. The cards are color coded to show nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.

  3. Rules Players must draw a card at the beginning of every turn and discard a card at the end of every turn. To lay cards down the players must have a complete sentence. To be able to play cards on another player’s sentence, said player must have already completed a sentence of his/her own. The first player to run out of cards wins.

  4. A sample sentence.

  5. The current deck of cards has over 450 different words.

  6. Goals Besides being fun, this game is meant to help players learn sentence structure and vocabulary. It is intended for Children ages 6-10. The color coding that differentiates the nouns from the verbs and/or adjectives will help children learn to identify the different parts of a sentence.

  7. Scoring • The more complicated the sentence the more points a player will score. • Articles are worth 1 point. • Nouns are worth 2 points. • Verbs are worth 3 points. • Adjectives are worth 4 points.

  8. Even though the game is meant for ages 6-10, it is still fun for handsome 26 year olds.

  9. Future Plans Future drafts of this game will have less cards available. The next draft will have some illustrations included on the cards.
