Triangle • A triangle has three sides • A triangle has three angles • The three angles always add to 180° Click the arrow to go to the homepage
Equilateral Triangle • Three equal sides • The small lines on each side of the triangle indicate the sides are the same length • Three equal angles, always 60° • The angles must be clearly classified Click the arrow to go to the homepage
Isosceles Triangle • Two equal sides • The lengths are classified by the small dashes on two sides of the triangle • Two equal angles • Must have two arcs or equal measurements on two of the corners of the triangle Click the arrow to go to the homepage
Scalene Triangle • No equal sides • Does not provide the lengths of the side or the dashes on any of the sides of the triangle • No equal angles • Does not provide the angles of the triangle or the arcs Click the arrow to go to the homepage
Acute Triangle • All angles are less than 90° • Must show all angles are <90° with labels • The angles will still add up to 180° Click the arrow to go to the homepage
Right Triangle • Must have a right angle (90°) • Must box in the corner representing 90° • If there isn’t a box, the triangle must be labeled Click the arrow to go to the homepage
Obtuse Triangle • Has an angles more than 90° and less than 180° • Must have one angle >90° Click the arrow to go to the homepage
What type of triangle is the following? A. Equilateral Triangle B. Scalene Triangle C. Right Isosceles Triangle D. Obtuse Triangle
Try Again!! • An equilateral triangle has three equal sides and three equal angles. Click the arrow to go back to the question
Try Again!! • A scalene triangle has no equal sides and no equal angles. Click the arrow to go back to the question
Way To Go!!!You are correct! • A right isosceles triangle has two equal sides and a 90° angle. Click the arrow to move forward
