  2. GrasslandsGeographyand Climate Geography:It’s located in North America,SouthAmerica,Africa,Australia, and New Zealand.also it’s located between the desert and the forest. Climate:it has hot summers which is up to 70 degrees f,and cold winters which is low as -40 degrees f.the rainfall is 250 mm/year and has 25-60 inches/year.also the precipitation supports the grass and is so eratic that it lets disastrous things ruin the forest.

  3. grasslandsBiodiversity • The Biodiversity is very biodiverse in this biome.all the species are different in this biome.there are more plants than animals. • There are 80 species of animals,300 species of birds, and 100 species of plants.

  4. GrasslandsAdaptations Needed for Survival • In an ecosystem in order to survive different species need certain other species to survive.forexample:precipitation supports the grasses growth and few trees.not only plant species also animal species, like a grey wolf eats an owl.

  5. grasslandsInteractions of Biotic and Abiotic • To survive in a biome animals have to rely on other animals by eating them.for example a bison eats grass, birds eat flowers, cayotes eat insects and birds, also other animals. In fact only 8% of all grasslands are protected from getting devoured .also simple things such as dirt helps trees, and air helps animals breathe, also water helps animals and plants.eitherabiotic or biotic there is something that can supply any kind of species.

  6. What is Biodiversity? • biodiversity is the number of the different kind of species of plants and animals in an area.

  7. How does biodiversity contribute to the sustainability of an ecosystem? • It helps by supplying food which is a source an organism needs to be able to survive in an area.for example if there was all owls in a biome they would die from starvation because they don’t eat their own species.
