  1. Archaeology • Archaeology is digging things up from the past. And finding what year they come from. • You use things like books and other things to find what it comes from. It is interesting.

  2. Archaeology Trip 1 • We went on a trip to see them digging the trenches. • We saw what the they had dug up.They had found a lot of things • We also had a look at all the trenches. They had dug up a lot of them

  3. Archaeology Trip 2 • Today it was our second time coming to the archaeological dig. • This time there wasn’t people digging. We went with a man called Kev, he was cool!

  4. Earth works • We stood on an earth work and he said its an earth works or a cow what's died and people stood off straight away. • We found out new words that archaeologists use.

  5. Archaeologist’s Gadgets • Archaeologists use special gadgets to help them. • Gadgets like ones that tell what is under the ground and what is on top. • They also use simple things like metal detectors.
