  3. What are the GOALS? • Be the first to equalize all players income • Collaborative goals must be reached first before an individual win can be declared • Collect the most BONUS points by giving away resources • Most resources/cash after X rounds

  4. What is the RULE SET? • Highest roller starts • Highest roller chooses the political system • 3D6 roll determine which game tile/hex is selected • A turn consists of a dice roll to select the active tile, collecting a resource card, turning in cards for upgrades/etc • Rolling a 3 or 18 requires a special event to happen

  5. What are the mechanics? • 1D6 generates 1-6equal odds • 2D6 generates 2-122 or 12 lowest odds : 7 highest odds • 3D6 generates 3-183 or 18 lowest odds : 10 or 11 highest odds

  6. Special Event Cards? • Maybe rolling a 3 or 18 (3D6) requires pulling a Global Special Event Card, e.g. “Roll the 3D6 again and that tile # is destroyed by an earthquake. Rolling 3 or 18 again cancels the event” OR “You may collect $1000 from each player. Use now or later”

  7. Resource Cards? • To build a house requires 2 mineral and 1 wood • To upgrade to an apartment... • To build/upgrade a powerplant... • To build/upgrade a farm • Resources can be collected by rolling dice and if your tokens are on that resource hex/square • Limited tokens can be distributed on your choice of resource hex

  8. Game Pieces/Tokens ?

  9. Profession Game Example • You roll highest (using 3D6) and choose “Socialist” political system and each player gets $30,000 • You roll a 12 (3D6) and pick one of 2 hex spots on the map to place your “doctor office” marker • Later, a player rolls a 12 (or 17) and owes you $1000 for elective surgery OR you can upgrade your office with an extra marker • Later, another player rolls a 12 (or 17) and owes you $2000 for elective surgery or you collect $500 from each player as a tax • If there are only 2 players you may choose to expand your hex territory and/or manage more than 1 profession • To WIN you can either reach a monetary value OR have the most territories OR ???

  10. Resources Game Example • 16 resource markers are randomly distributed on the map (4 mines, 4 farms, 4 forests, 4 residential) • Players take turns, choose and mark their territories fairly • Players roll the 3D6 and if their property is chosen they may collect that resource card • During their turn they may trade resources for upgrades • Rolling a 3 or 16 allows you to collect special event cardse.g. “FREE UPGRADE” or “Take 1 resource from each player” • Giving away resources gets you BONUS points • Winning can be the most upgrades after X rounds OR first to reach a final upgrade stage OR X Bonus points reached
