This guide explores the concept of subordination in English sentence structure, contrasting it with coordination. Subordination involves unequal parts resulting in complex sentences, often initiated by subordinating conjunctions such as "because," "if," "when," and "although." The guide provides examples and explanations of how to properly use these conjunctions to form coherent complex sentences. Additionally, an assignment encourages the application of these concepts in writing, enhancing grammar skills and sentence construction.
