  2. Who • Usain bolt. Usain Bolt participated in the 2004 Olympics, 2008 Olympics and the 2012 Olympics. Usain is Jamaican. He is the world’s fastest runner with his 100m sprint time of 9.58 seconds and his 200m sprint time of 19.19seconds. Some of Usain Bolt’s stats are his height is 96cm, his weight is 93 kg, he is male and he is 26. Bolt got3 gold medals, 0 silver and 0 bronze this Olympics.

  3. What • Usain Bolt participates in the 100m sprint, the 200m sprint and the 4 x 100m relay. In the 100m sprint 10 or less runners run in lanes in an oval shaped ground for 100m, but the 100m sprint is only ran on the straight part. In the 200m sprint 10 or less runners run for 200m in the same oval shaped ground except you start on a curve in the 200m. In the 4 x 100m relay, one person runs for 100m with a baton. After 100m that person gives the baton to the next person, whom runs for 100m then that person passes the baton to the next person, and so on.

  4. When • Usain Bolt was born on August 21, 1986. Bolt started sprinting when he was around 14. In 2002, when he was 16, he started his junior career. In 2007, when he was 21, he started his senior career. Bolt has been sprinting for 12 years. The 100m sprints were on the 4th and 5th of August2012. The 200m sprints were on the 7th, 8th and 9th of August. The 4 x 100m Relays were on the 10th and 11th of August.

  5. Where • Usain Bolt was born in Trelawny, Jamaica. Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean Sea. The venue of the 100m sprints, the 200m sprints and the 4 x 100m relays was the London Olympic Stadium. The London Olympic Stadium is in Stratford, London, England.

  6. Why • I chose Usain Bolt as my athlete because I like running and I look up to Bolt as a role model for running. I also chose Bolt because he is the fastest human on earth! Bolt started sprinting because he played cricket and his cricket coach noticed he was fast. So he told Bolt that he should try sprinting. Bolt did.

  7. How • In order to be an Olympic athlete Bolt needs some things. He needs training. In Bolt’s training he starts the season with strength development then moves on to coordination and biomechanical execution. He needs good food all the time. And he needs mental strength and confidence.
