  1. Uganda Jinja Jinja is located in the eastern part of Uganda on the Victoria Nile River, near Lake Victoria. Jinja is the biggest industrial city and the commercial and processing center for Uganda where sugarcane, corn, cotton, and peanuts is grown and manufactures a variety of goods including metal goods, forest products, refined copper, soap , textiles, and processed food. It has a rail that connects with Mombasa in Indian Ocean. Jinja was established way back in 1901 as a trading pillar; with the growth of the neighboring Owen Falls dam (hydroelectric project), which comprises the Nalubaale (1954) and Kiira (1999) dams, Jinja became a major industrial center in (1950s); the Bujagali dam and the power station were accomplished a few miles downriver just in 2012. Jinja’s service and its infrastructure declined in Idi Amin’s regime. Entebbe Entebbe and its town is located on Lake Victoria, near Kampala. Found in a region producing coffee, cotton, and plantains, it is the location of a major international airport. And it was founded in 1893, and from 1894 to 1962 it was the administrative capital of the British Uganda Protectorate. In 1972, All Asian leaving in Entebbe and other parts of Uganda were forced to leave as part of a nationwide expulsion of Asians by Gen. Idi Amin. In 1976, Entebbe airport was attacked by Israeli commandos who freed 103 Israeli hostages from a plane hijacked by Palestinian terrorists. And Eleven Ugandan fighter jets and much of the airport were shattered in the attack. This city has remarkable botanical gardens and research institutions. Gaddafi Mosque (Uganda National Mosque) The Gaddafi Mosque or the Uganda National Mosque located at old Kampala on the Kampala Hill in Kampala Uganda, it is one of the Gifts the late Colonel Muammar Gaddafi (former president of Libya) gave to Uganda Moslem believers, which was completed in 2006 and officially opened in 2007 under a name of Gaddafi mosque. And it was renamed by Uganda Moslem supreme council to Uganda National Mosque recently in 2013 after the death of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi former president of Libya.

  2. The Uganda National Mosque (Gaddafi mosque) accommodates over 1,100 worshipers in the gallery, terrace caters for over 3,500 more worshipers and the other part of the mosque caters for 10,400. Generally the entire mosque accommodates around 15,000 worshipers. Uganda National Mosque or Gaddafi Mosque is one of the largest mosque in Uganda and the only skyscraper mosque in Uganda. This Mosque was renamed due to the reluctance of the Libyan Administration to reorient the old name.
