  7. Call for discipleship A. How did Jesus prepare His disciples? Mark 3:13-18 • The disciples spent some time with Jesus, observing and learning • We must recognize that we have been called to discipleship—to service

  8. Call for discipleship B. Why are these words particularly important for us as Adventists? Matthew 5:13-16 • Every disciple has been called not only to follow, but also to serve • God has entrusted to us the work of bringing God’s last message

  10. Our Mission A. What principles are found in these words for our work of seeking to make disciples? Matthew 10:5-11 • Witnessing is not going to be easy. We need to depend totally upon God’s power • We need to live by faith

  11. Our Mission B. As modern day disciples of Jesus, what is our mission? Luke 10:1 • We are to prepare the way of the Lord • We are to prepare people for Christ’s soon Coming
