  6. STEP ONE PREACH GOD’S WARNING MESSAGE

  7. God’s Warning Message A. What is the mission of the Christian church, and how well is it carrying out this mission? Matt. 28:19, 20 • MISSION. Within 100 years it increased from 18% in the year 1800 to 34 per cent in 1900. • Today, out of 229 countries, SDAs have an established work in more than 200 of them. EGW greatly helped in our growth as a denomination.

  8. God’s Warning Message B. In what ways have Christian education benefited our church? • EDUCATION. At the beginning of 1872 EGW received a vision on the proper principles of education • Today, more than 6000 Adventist schools, colleges, and universities serve more than one million students around the world

  9. God’s Warning Message C. How have we as a church benefited from prophetic guidance about health? • HEALTH MESSAGE. On June 6, 1863, EGW received a vision in which she was shown the need for health reform • Today, there are about 300 hospitals, clinics, and dispensaries which the church operates today

  11. God’s Plan of Salvation A. What role did publishing play in the early history of SDA church? • PUBLISHING. In 1848 EGW had a vision. “I have a message for you. You must begin to print a little paper and send it out to people.”—Life Sketches of EGW, p. 125 • Today, the SDA church owns more than fifty publishing houses, and the message is printed in more than 220 languages

Gen. 1:1-3 • THEOLOGY - God has used the prophetic gift to protect His people from theological errors • According to OT the Lord created life on our earth in six days • EGW “I was then carried back to the creation and was shown that the first week, in which God performed the work of creation in six days and rested on the seventh day, was just like other every week.”—Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 90
