  1. Important Reminder: • Mon, Oct 29: Typed rough draft due at the beginning of class. Be prepared for conference with me to look at your paper. Rough draft will be a grade. Look over Checklist/Grading Rubric to make sure you are doing everything correctly!!!!!!

  2. 10-25-12 Objectives: • To analyze author’s purpose in the “Prologue” to Canterbury Tales. • To relate characters, setting, and theme of the “Prologue” to historical, social, and economic ideas of the time.

  3. Today’s Agenda: • Journal • Fill out Character Chart • Each table will be assigned different pilgrims and then share your findings with the rest of the class. • At the end of class, everyone will turn in a completed chart.

  4. 10-25-12 Journal: • Describe your dream vacation. Be sure to mention the time of year you prefer to go, who will go with you, and what is your reason for picking this location.

  5.
