  2. We Do Not Believe Limited Atonement Is True • Limited Atonement-“Means that Christ’s reconciling act, though adequate for all humankind, is beneficial only for the elect. Those who have not been chosen by God may be edified by the example of Christ, but they will not be saved by His work.” • (Presbyterians, Their History and Beliefs, Walter Lingle, p.36)

  3. We Do Not Believe Limited Atonement Is True • “God calls humans beings (or at least some humans) to a special relationship and destiny.” (ibid. p. 103) • “Double predestination is the conviction that if God actively chooses some people, he therefore must choose not to choose some others. ( ibid. p.103)

  4. We Believe God Shows No Partiality • Acts 10:34-35 • Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

  5. We Believe God Desires All Men To Be Saved • 1 Timothy 2:3-4 • For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We Believe God’s Grace Is For All Men • Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, • Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

  7. We Believe Whoever Desires, May Take Freely • Revelation 22:17 • And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

  8. We Do Not Believe Irresistible Grace Is True • Irresistible Grace-“Means that when God undertakes to save a person by his grace or umerited favor, that grace is invincible. Even in making every effort, a person could not refuse it. Therefore no credit should be due for accepting it.” • (Presbyterians, Their History and Beliefs, Walter Lingle, p. 36)

  12. We BelieveYou Can Not Believe Unless You Hear • Romans 10:8-17 13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

  13. We BelieveFaith Comes By Hearing The Word Of God • Romans 10:8-17 • So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  14. We BelieveWe Are To Preach The Gospel To Everyone • Mark 16:15-16 • And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
