Workshop Objectives Increase knowledge and stimulate the implementation of RBF systems that are effective at improving child, newborn and maternal health: • Explore the basics of results-based financing. • Share experiences from countries that have implemented RBF successfully. • Develop and/or refine RBF designs

  3. Workshop Outcomes Specific outcomes include: • Countries will refine their designs and develop implementation plans. • Other countries will draft a country Blue Print for RBF interventions and an action plan identifying immediate next steps.

  4. Workshop Methodology • Presentations / plenary discussions • Group Work: 2-3 countries • The Blueprint Guide: step by step • Field Visit: observe the facts • Action Plans: follow-up tool

  5. Ideas / take home messagesfrom the workshop • Before you come back in plenary, write down (in bullet point), 5 take-home messages / lessons / or ideas youcame across (during the workshop) which you think you will put in practice within the next 4 weeks when you are back in your country / office.
