How to Stay motivated 101 No. 1 — Keep doing the same things you did as a District Leader. • Recruit, then get them on the Builders Track. • Field train, then have fun pushing them up. • Build leaders No. 2 — Don't let negative people, losers, people who disappoint you, and rejections destroy your attitude. Always be positive. • Remember that Whatever you focus on will ultimately become your reality! Think wisely.

  3. How to Stay Motivated 101 No. 3 — Understand that people's negative attitudes are caused because - • They aren't winning • They don't believe they can win • They are Quitters. No. 4 — You must always be "a winning example." You must always "do it" first. Leaders Lead. No. 5 — You must have local success before your people believe. Not good enough for just company leaders to win. No. 6 — You must have your priorities in order. A lousy spiritual, personal and family life equals a lousy business life.

  4. How to Stay Motivated 101 No. 5 — Build it The Primerica Way. Follow Primerica principles, traditions, guidelines, etc. It is worth "PAYING THE PRICE" to "DO IT RIGHT" the first time. Don't lose your opportunity by TAKING SHORT CUTS and doing dumb things! Use your "common sense..." No. 6 — You can't tell your people what you think most of the time — can't lose patience. This is not a sprint. It’s a Marathon! No. 7 — Don't let your overrides dictate every decision. • Do what's right. Be a person of your word. • Honor your commitments even if it costs you money. • Your REPUTATION is everything.

How to Stay Motivated 101 No. 9 — Be Mentally Tough. • Want to quit — But can't • Get tired — But can't rest • Believe — when everyone doubts No. 11 — Work hard. • Hard work makes up for mistakes • Build with a series of 90-day commitments • Always keep prospecting — Take the No’s. No. 12 — The key to maintaining an exciting atmosphere: • Keep 'em coming and going – Promotions. • Pass NEGATIVES UP and POSITIVES DOWN

  6. How to Stay Motivated 101 • No. 13 — Contact someone every day and give thanks, congratulate and motivate them. Master the 2 minute call. Do not engage in Drama, gossip or negative talk. • No. 14 — Make your people feel good and special. • • Always give compliments. • • Look for the good things in people. • • Ask your people their opinions and input. • • People want to feel loved and needed. • No. 15 — Expect your people to succeed. • • You run an RVP factory • • You sell hope and opportunity • • Be an eternal OPTIMIST • No. 16 — Have the guts to let your people make mistakes. (You learn by doing) • Don’t baby your people. Let them get their nose bloody.

How to Stay Motivated 101 No. 17 — Forget your mistakes. • All you can do is all you can do • Nobody's perfect No. 18 — Treat your people good. • Don't threaten and intimidate • You might not like a person, but be good to him No. 19 — Build strong personal relationships. (You must live with your people through good times and bad times) No. 20 — Burn all bridges and make a total commitment. You won't ever be average and ordinary again Total commitment brings happiness and purpose to your life. Plant your flag deep! No. 21 — Build with the right kind of people. •Greenies, M K H J 30K+ Good person.

  8. Extra Tips: • Deeply Visualize and Believe that great things always happen to you. Believe you are a Great Leader! • Always be the most excited person in the room. • Always Sell the Dream with Passion! • Don’t be a “Back of the Room” complainer. • Get your people to like you and trust you. Listen. • Set a Standard of Excellence for others to emulate. • If you win the argument, you will ultimately lose. • It is OK to say sorry. It’s also OK to forgive. • Plant your flag deep. • Have new recruit nights to get to know your people. • Expect your people to be GREAT! • Do what’s right. Let’s Protect our opportunity.
