Leaner Objectives • Objective 1: The learner will have the ability to use Facebook “like” page to develop brand awareness • Objective 2: The learner will be able use hash-tags to build anticipation about a product • Objective 3: The learner will have an understanding the impact Social Media can have on a company and product
Ice Breaker • To begin this presentation lets, develop 5 twitter statuses about your business or product. The tweets must include or be a variation of the following: • Hash-tag • Information about product • Company Location or where the product is located • One history fact about the company or product
The “Like” Page • The “like” page is a way a company can develop awareness about a business or product • There are 800 Million Active Users of Facebook • A “ Like” page is also good for engagement with consumers
Twitter: Hashtags & Retweets • Hashtags are twitter’s marketing tools. • Using dates in hash-tag forms • (ex. #NOV21Special) • Hash Tag can also create trending topic, which will have your company be seen
Twitter : Retweets • Retweets are a good way to engage consumers. • Retweets also encourage consumers to speak about the product more willingly
Social Media Presence • Every company should have a social media presence on the web. • Every company should use their social media daily and have constant updates throughout the day. • Social Media should be more frequently when a company is launching a product, or service
