9-2-10 Objectives • I will complete a bio-glyph about me. • I will demonstrate safety during a hard lockdown, a soft lockdown and a shelter in place.
Shelter in Place • During a shelter in place, youwill go about yourworkwith no interruptions. • The teacherwillberesponsible for taping the outsidedoor, taping the classroomdoor and locking the classroomdoor.
Soft Lockdown • During a soft lockdownwewill continue working as usual. • We not bepermitted to use the bathroomwithout an escort. • The teacherwilllock the door and pull the black shade down.
Hard Lockdown • During a hard lockdown, the studentswillgetinto a duck and cover position. • There willbe NO TALKING duringthis time. • The teacherwillbechecking the computer and alsobe in a duck and coverwhen possible. • If the door opens we are not looking.
Write a Story: • Write a fiction story to go alongwithyour bio-glyph. • Makeyour story exiciting to read. • Do not forget to have a topic sentence in eachparagraphyouwrite.
