  1. Dash the Greedy Puppy By Katelyn Borg Grade 5 alpha

  2. Last weekend, Hania and Ethan decided to go out to play. Mum told them that they should go on a picnic since the weather was so nice. The children packed their picnic basket and put in lots of sandwiches, while mum prepared a flask with juice.

  3. Mum called the children to explain to them where they should go. When the children had their backs turned, Dash the puppy jumped in the basket. Ethan and Hania checked if they had everything, said their goodbyes and left.

  4. They walked for quite a long time. Finally, they found a good spot for a picnic. They placed a blanket on the ground, put their picnic basket on it and went to play. An hour later, Ethan and Hania stopped playing because they were starving. All of a sudden they heard a bark. They ignored the barking and went to eat.

  5. When they opened the basket a little, they looked in and found it empty. Suddenly, a small brown ball of fur jumped out, it was Dash the puppy. He had eaten all of their food. Hania was a bit sad and Ethan got a little angry. Then, they looked at Dash’s face and saw that he was too cute to get angry with. So they picked up their ball and went off to play with Dash. They all had fun playing together.
