  2. Field Name: Food Item Data Type: Text Field Size: 25 The data type for food item is text because it’s a word and I chose a field size of 25 because I don’t think there would be an item of food with over 25 characters.

  3. Field Name: Group Data Type: Text Field Size: 2 The data type was text because I would be writing a code with letters. I chose 2 for the field size as each code had 2 letters and no more. For the validation rule I had to type out each of the codes so people can’t type in any other codes into the database.

  4. Field Name: Unit Data Type: Text Field Size: 20 The data type for unit is text because the units were to be written out in words not numbers. I chose 20 as I thought this would be an appropriate field size.

  5. Field Name: Quantity Data Type: Number Field Size: Integer The data type is number because quantity refers to how much as this is measured in number form. The field size is an integer because it’s a whole number.

  6. Field Name: Carbs Data Type: Number Field Size: Double The data type is number because carbs refer to the amount of carbohydrates in a piece of food. The field size is double I might need to write in decimals.

  7. Field Name: Fibre Data Type: Number Field Size: Integer The data type is number because you need to measure the amount of fibres in a food item. The field size is integer because it’s a whole number.

  8. Field Name: Fat Data Type: Number Field Size: Double The data type is number because it’s the amount of fat in a food item. The field size is double because it could be a decimal.

  9. Field Name: Calories Data Type: Number Field Size: Integer The data type is number because it’s the amount of calories in a food item. The field size is integer because it has to be a whole number.
