  3. Guard Against: • Words of guile – Psalm 34:13; I Pet. 2:22; John 1:47 • Rash Utterances – Eccl 5:2; Prov. 20:25 • Spouting slander – Psalm 101:5; Prov. 10:18; 2 Cor. 12:20 • “Filthy” talk – Eph. 4:29 • Untimely words – Prov. 25:11; 15:23 • Harsh Criticism – Eccl. 10:20
