  4. Reading and Language Arts Standards Revisions • to ensure a progression of rigor and relevance across the grades, • to create K-8 grade-level benchmarks for clarity at each grade level, • to create Grades 9-10 and Grades 11-12 benchmarks for greater clarity at the high school level
