  2. Answer these questions on a piece of paper now. Be ready to discuss your answers during the last few minutes of class.. Explain your answers (3-4 sentences) • What should the role of government be in your life? • Do you think that people in our government care about you? • Do you trust that the government has your best interests at heart? • Do you trust the people in government? • The best days of this country are: ahead of us, behind us, happening right now. • Who is most important in influencing a person’s views about government?

  3. What qualities do you expect a representative in government to have? • What is your definition of a good leader? • What is the biggest problem facing our country today? • Can one person really make a difference? • Ask me a question..

  4. Homework for Thursday- • Find a quote from someplace.. • Write the quote on a piece of paper (include the author and where it came from) • Write a two paragraphs explaining: • What the quote means • Why you picked it

  5. Warning! • We will be watching a film running Thursday-Tuesday. There will be a project due (October 26) after you watch the film. • Please, don’t miss these next few days or you might as well just hit yourself in the face with a sledgehammer. (ok, well, it will be hard to finish the project at least..)
