  3. Agenda • Review sensitivity status • Review guidelines • Discussion open questions, other topics • Follow up from last meeting • Research ideas • Monitoring methods

  4. Fungicide sensitivity status for major fungicide classes in banana cropping No resistance detected(applicable only for QoI and BCM) High Medium Low

  5. Product performance of major fungicide classes in banana cropping High Medium Low

  6. New FRAC guidelines for use of major fungicide classes in banana cropping

  7. Follow up • Research activities: • Comparability of sensitivity data between monitoring laboratories:In order to get to a common understanding for the data obtained in monitoring studies, a technical expert group will be established. The primary goal is the comparison of sensitivity data between different monitoring labs. Samples, methods and results will be exchanged between participating parties. Teresa Arroyo (Monreri) agreed to coordinate the activities.  • Interpretation of monitoring data and correlation with the field efficacy of respective products:Focussing on Qo inhibitors (strobilurines) a greenhouse trial programme is intended. The objective of this initiative is to establish a correlation between resistance levels in the field and the efficacy of the affected chemical class. Mauricio Guzman (Corbana) agreed to coordinate the activities. • Next chair: Syngenta, taking over June 2007
