ECR Europe Supply Side meeting – 11 February 2005 Objective of the meeting: • Identify main common challenges for manufacturers and retailers in optimising the supply chain • Agree ways to boost implementation of existing ECR Europe supply side recommendations (blue books) • Agree which new work should be undertaken  Recommendation to ECR Europe Board on 18 March on priority topics and next steps

ECR Europe Supply Side meeting – 11 February 2005 Participants confirmed to date (27) Retailers: Metro, Metro Greece, Rewe, Tradeka, Woolworth (D) Manufacturers: Colgate-Palmolive, Coors Brewers, Douwe Egberts, Kraft Foods, Gillette, Heineken, Henkel, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, SCA Hygiene Products, SC Johnson Wax, Unilever Others: CCG, ECR France, GS1, Indicod-ECR Italy

ECR Europe Supply Side work Status of ongoing projects Shrinkage: • Focus on implementation via European and national Shrinkage workshops • Next European workshop: 10 March 2005, Prague • National workshops confirmed: • Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Russia, Turkey • Strong interest for national workshop: • Italy, Spain, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Greece • Further development work on • ‘hot’ stores, products, managers… • Increasing manufacturer participation

ECR Europe Supply Side work Status of ongoing projects OSA: • Focus on implementation via national ECR projects and company implementation • National projects: Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Norway, Switzerland, UK • Break-out session on company implementation at ECR conference • OSA part of GLP
