10. 4th ID Mission & Intent 4ID FRAGO (IRONHORSE REBUILD) 4567-09-01 (EXTRACT) Mission: O/O, 4th ID conducts stability operations in AO IRONHORSE in support of Azeri civilian authorities and military defense forces to restore a secure and safe environment, with the pre-conflict international border between AZ and AH restored and secure. Intent: Enable the restoration of local AZ government structures capable of sustained pre-conflict basic services and focused humanitarian operations in the DIV AO. Facilitate the AZ government’s re-introduction of border and rayon security forces throughout the DIV AO, and establish the conditions for the transfer of authority/responsibility from Coalition Forces to AZ forces (police and military) or designated follow-on peacekeeping force.
