KZN October 2011 : ROSS take over in KZN ROSS TAKE OVER FROM A-MARK SECURITY: DATE: October 2010 Number of Sites: 49 TIMELINE • 13 October 2010: Meeting between Amark and Mohammed Khan (Edcon Group Risk Manager), to explained the take over of ROSS due to A-Mark's Liquidation. • 14 October 2010: Meeting between Theo Kloppers (ROSS Operations Director) , ROSS Management Staff and Amark personnel • 15 October 2010: Meeting between ROSS Management with regards to operational status of A-Mark • 15 October 2010: All information regarding staff given through to ROSS HQ for uniforms, staff and site requirements. • 17 October 2010: Uniforms arrived and distribution started (Durban region and Midlands only) • 18 October 2010: Amark admin personnel flew to Pretoria to assist in load staff onto Easy Roster • 20 October 2010: All information updated with new info. • 21 October 2010: Start of new rosters and payroll under ROSS. • 23 October 2010: Pay run for period 15 September - 20 October 2011 captured, minor adjustments were corrected. A-Mark Staff loaded and paid on the 25 October by ROSS. By end November 2010, all staff had uniform and site files were placed on siteand the rollout was completed successfully without major problems. All staff was retained, management process adapted and ROSS standards applied on all aspects of guarding.
