WHAT TO DO:- • You should wear vertical stripes • shirts that should not be very wide. • Whether it’s stripes, checks, the cloth • pattern should be small. • Do wear clothes that fit close to the body. (Think slim, not skinny.) • Your blazers and jackets should fall slightly below your buttocks, as this will make your body look slightly more elongated. • Stick with single-breasted, • one or two button jackets.

  5. WHAT NOT TO DO:- • DON’T wear broad, horizontal patterns. • DON’T buy baggy clothes. • They won’t make you look • bigger. In fact, they make you • look smaller and younger. • DON’T wear double-breasted jackets. • You should not wear long jackets and shirts with wide sleeves.

ACCESSORIES • Shorter men should wear narrow ties • with diagonal patterns inspite of bow ties. • Wear belts that are adjustable • for perfect fit. • Avoid suspenders as it emphasize • your natural vertical line. • Proportion. --Accessories like ties, watches and belts should be narrow and small (unless you are on the heftier side, in which case a slim tie will only make you look wider). In general, keep things slim and simple.

  7. FOOTWEAR • DON’T wear shoes with thick soles to look taller. NEVER buy “risers” (shoes that are created for the very purpose of adding inches). • Choose pointed formal shoes on casual and informal soled sneakers. • The boots can be beautiful on the • men of small stature for eg:-if worn with • jeans tucked in at the ankle, even better • if without any color contrasts, such as • black boots and skinny jeans blacks.
