This study investigates the photoluminescence (PL) spectra and stability of Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) nanoparticles dispersed in water and Phosphate Buffer Saline (PBS). We compare the performances of QD NAC-capped and QD NAC-conjugated nanoparticles to assess their stability and optical properties in both media. Understanding the behavior of these nanoparticles in different environments is crucial for their application in biomedicine and photonics. The findings reveal significant differences in PL stability between the two types of nanoparticle formulations.
