  4. Aims of Project Pools-2 1:- Producing Open Online Learning Systems - - coordinated by CECE - teams taking part -Cyprus, Denmark, Malta, Portugal, Scotland, and Spain. - EfVET - dissemination partner with access to thousands of vocational colleges across Europe.

  5. Aims of Project cont. 2:- Pools-2 is a Transfer of Innovation (TOI) Pools-2 will transfer the core outputs of pools to three new languages: Greek, Maltese, and Portuguese

  6. Aims of Project cont. 3:- The POOLS-2 project target group- - are teachers of the LWUTL (Less Widely Used and Taught Languages) in technical colleges. Due to the limited range of ICT materials for these languages the teachers often have to develop materials themselves if they want to exploit the many advantages of eLearning.

  7. Aims of Project cont. The final products are:1. Materials to be used during in-service teacher training courses and in teaching.2. Flexible competence based language teacher course modules on ICT methodologies and development of ICT based teaching resources. 3. A DVD with step by step instructions and examples on how to create multimedia online material.4. A course book (downloadable .pdf file) with description of language teaching eLearning materials and methodologies

  8. Aims of this workshop • Update of all the project Outputs • Material should have been updated/modified in an ongoing process during the pilot course period based on the feedback from pilot workshops and peer reviews.

  9. Aims of this workshop cont. • Harmonization between the four language versions – all contain similar content (the adapted EN version, and GR, MT, and PT) are similar in content • The final revised versions of all material will be compiled (and changes translated) to replace the previous online versions.

  10. Aims of this workshop cont. The compilation of all updated material will be based on online debate between the ES (assisted by DK and UK teams) and each of the partners in CY, MT, and PT.

  11. Aims of this workshop cont. The DK partner produce the final pdf version with graphics etc. and put these online from the website.

  12. Aims of this workshop cont. The final results will be presented at the last project meeting to be formally approved and quality assessed for the final report.
