1 John 2 Christ Our Advocate and Our Eternal Security

3. 1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

7. 8 And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?”

10. 10 Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? 30. 7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard.

31. 7 ดูก่อนท่านที่รัก ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้เขียนบัญญัติใหม่ถึงท่านทั้งหลายเลย แต่เป็นพระบัญญัติเก่าซึ่งท่านทั้งหลายได้มีอยู่ตั้งแต่เริ่มแรก พระบัญญัติเก่านั้นคือคำซึ่งท่านทั้งหลายได้ยินมาแล้ว

32. 8 At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

33. 8 อีกนัยหนึ่งก็กล่าวได้ว่าข้าพเจ้าเขียนบัญญัติใหม่ถึงท่านทั้งหลาย ที่ว่าใหม่ทั้งฝ่ายพระองค์และฝ่ายท่านทั้งหลาย ก็เพราะว่าความมืดนั้นกำลังจะล่วงไป และความสว่างแท้ก็ส่องอยู่แล้ว

34. 9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 9 ผู้ใดที่กล่าวว่าตนอยู่ในความสว่าง และยังเกลียดชังพี่น้องของตน ผู้นั้นก็ยังอยู่ในความมืด

35. 10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. 10 ผู้ที่รักพี่น้องของตนก็อยู่ในความสว่าง และในความสว่างนั้นไม่มีอะไรที่จะทำให้สะดุด

39. 13 ท่านทั้งหลายที่เป็นบิดา ข้าพเจ้าเขียนจดหมายถึงท่าน เพราะท่านทั้งหลายได้คุ้นกับพระองค์ผู้ทรงดำรงอยู่ตั้งแต่ปฐมกาล ท่านทั้งหลายที่เป็นคนหนุ่มๆ ข้าพเจ้าเขียนจดหมายถึงท่านเพราะท่านทั้งหลายได้ชนะมารร้ายนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายผู้เป็นลูก ข้าพเจ้าเขียนจดหมายถึงท่านเพราะท่านทั้งหลายได้คุ้นกับพระบิดา

40. 14 I write to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

41. 14 ท่านทั้งหลายที่เป็นบิดา ข้าพเจ้าเขียนจดหมายถึงท่าน เพราะท่านทั้งหลายได้คุ้นกับพระองค์ผู้ทรงดำรงอยู่ตั้งแต่ปฐมกาล ท่านทั้งหลายที่เป็นคนหนุ่มๆ ข้าพเจ้าเขียนจดหมายถึงท่านเพราะท่านทั้งหลายมีกำลังมาก และพระวจนะของพระเจ้าดำรงอยู่ในท่านทั้งหลาย และท่านชนะมารร้ายนั้นแล้ว
