  2. At the beginning God created the earth and everything in it and prepared it for mankind….

  3. God created man. He breathed into him the breath of life. He created him in His own image.

  4. God gave man free will

  5. Adam and Eve misused their freedom

  6. “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23)

  7. Their disobedience separated them from God.

  8. We needed a redeemer But who?

  9. Characteristics and Conditions Of the Redeemer

  10. 1) Must be Human 2) Must die 3) Must be without sin 4) Must be unlimited 5) Must be the creator 6) Must be able to conquer death

  11. So now what do we do? • - Think about Christ’s love for us • - Remember that Christ took our punishment and redeemed us • - Remember that sin separates me from God • - Remember that our sin caused Christ to die for us • - Repent from my sin and try to stop it • - Confess my sin to a priest
