  2. Rounding Decimals Round forty seven and twenty eight thousandths to the nearest hundredth. 47.028 Write it in decimal form. Find the hundredths place. Now, look at the digit to the right. If it’s 4 or below, let the 2 go. If it’s 5 or above, give the 2 a shove (up to 3) Write the new number. 47.03
