The relay on Mt started with Gegyi as the first bearer and Wang Yongfeng as the second , Then Nyima Cering and Huang Chungui continued with the relay, The last of the five touchbeaers ,Cering Wangmo, finished the last part of the relay. By making great efforts and overcoming the challengers of lack of oxygen and low temperature, they succeeded in reaching the peak of 8,844,43 meters around 9:18 a.m. , On arriving , they proudly held the Olympic touch and showed the five-ring Olympic flag, the Chinese national flag and the Beijing Olympic emblem, “Welcone to Beijing,” they invited people all over the world to China, The Qomolangma flame will be reunited with the main flame later in the relay, This is the first time in history that the sacred flame has reached the third pole on earth, The Chinese government’s promise of carrying the torch to Mt Qomolangma in its bidding campaign has finally come true ,It’s also a vivid proof of our concept of Hitech Olympics.
