  2. First, watch the film approved by Mr. Hauk and Mr. Hopwood in this “Great Films” Series. You must submit a PLOT SUMMARY, PLOT DIAGRAM and a SHORT PARAGRAPH describing the film’s impact (why it is great!) • Use the forms provided for all Classic Films

  3. Title • Name • Date • Period

  4. Plot Summary • Clear and Simple, following the narrative diagram. • 1-2 slides

  5. Director • Background information • Other great films • Awards? • Still alive/Dead? • Etc.

  6. Main Actors (3-5) • Background • Other Films • Awards • What are they known for? • What is their role in this film • What made them great in this film? • Pictures/Video Clips of each actor

  7. Making the film • Background • Script • Production details • Challenges • Premiere, release dates • Early reviews and current reviews • Awards? • Pictures/(Video clips of production?)

  8. Why so Great? • What makes this film so great? • Groundbreaking? • How did it influence other films after it? • Convince the Class!!!!!

  9. Pictures • Pictures that demonstrate the film’s impact, etc.

  10. Video Clips • Insert 4 or 5 of clips of the major scenes that prove points you have been making in your presentation! • (or have the times from the dvd cued up)

  11. Quiz! • A 15 -20 question quiz (multiple choice!) for the class to take FOR AN ACTUAL GRADE! Remember: make a KEY – You and your partner MUST GRADE THEM. Please don’t make them too easy, or too hard. Remember Goldilocks when making your quiz!

  12. Resources/Citations/Bibliography • List all of the major website resources (actual links I can click on!) • Cite the Book that you used MLAish Style • Articles • Interviews/etc.
